A TRIBE sorozat szabadtérre költözik a nyári hónapokra, méghozzá a Duna-partra a PONTOON-ra, ahol havonta válogatjuk majd az itthoni afrobeat (és műfaji holdudvara) szcéna legszuperebb zenészeit, ezúttal Saïd Tichiti zenekarát.

Saïd Chalaban mesterien hozza össze az arab és afrikai ősi zenék misztikus hangulatát a modern nyugati pszichedelia világával. Nem először varázsolnak sivatagi oázist a Duna-partra – és most sem számítunk kevesebbre.
Ősi gnawa, shaâbi és hasszáni dallamok találkoznak funk, dub és jazz groove-okkal, amiből egy teljesen egyedi, beszippantó élmény születik.

A koncert után Infragandhi mélyre nyúl a lemeztáskában, és előkerül a legendás arab gyűjtemény – aki tavaly ott volt, tudja, mire számíthat.

A TRIBE Budapest új közösségi zenei kalandozása, egy rendszeresen visszatérő improvizatív est, ahol a város izgalmasabbnál izgalmasabb zenészei lépnek egy színpadra olyan célt kitűzve hogy együtt bontsák le a műfaji határokat és megmutassák, mi történik akkor, amikor különböző zenekarok tagjai egy közös improvizált világban találkoznak, az afrobeat és egyéb világzenék hagyományai mentén.

The TRIBE series is moving outdoors for the summer season, landing on the Danube riverbank at Pontoon Budapest, where each month we’ll showcase some of the finest artists from the local afrobeat scene (and its wider musical orbit).

Saïd Chalaban masterfully blends the mystical atmosphere of ancient Arab and African music with the world of modern Western psychedelia. It’s not the first time they’ve transformed the banks of the Danube into a desert oasis—and we’re expecting nothing less this time.
Ancient gnawa, shaâbi, and Hassani melodies meet funk, dub, and jazz grooves, creating a completely unique and immersive sonic experience.

After the concert, Infragandhi will dig deep into his record bag and bring out his legendary Arabic vinyl collection. Those who were there last year already know exactly what to expect.

TRIBE - Budapest’s new communal musical adventure, a recurring night of improvisation where some of the city’s most exciting musicians share the stage, aiming to break down genre boundaries and explore what happens when members of different bands meet in a spontaneous, shared musical world - inspired by the traditions of Afrobeat and global grooves.
