~ Melancholic Hungarian folk songs and melodic café-punk chansons meet California dreaming and Italo disco. Formed by Anna and Gergő in 2020, the duo takes us on a journey through the realms of self-loathing and burnout, accompanied by distinctive guitar and piano arrangements, or at other times, walls of synthesizers and wild beats. Folk-inspired melodies and a healthy dose of humour make the ride all the more entertaining.

~ Anna and Gergő’s fateful meeting in 2020 gave birth to the album Senki nem beszél, originally conceived as Anna’s solo record. But after countless concerts and hours spent creating music together, the pair naturally evolved into a duo. By the time their 2023 album arrived, they had also found a name for themselves - and have been known as LA Suzi ever since.

~ Experience Budapest’s summer by the river at Pontoon. Our open-air venue hosts free live music, DJ nights and cultural events every day next to the Chain Bridge.
