ENTRY & HOW WE ROLL
Pontoon is an open, easygoing space. No doors, no entry gates — just a vibe we’d like to keep. Help us keep it that way!
There’s no room here for racism, homophobia, or any kind of discrimination. If everyone’s cool, everyone has a good time.
If you’re under 18, you can hang with us until 11 PM. We know, not the most exciting rule, but it is what it is. Alcohol is only served to adults — if our bartenders ask, please show your ID. It’s nothing personal, just the rules.
Planning to celebrate a birthday? You’re welcome to bring a cake, but please also bring a receipt for it — or, if it’s homemade, a short note confirming it’s from you. We’re not able to provide plates or cutlery.
By staying at Pontoon, you accept these house rules. Nothing heavy — it’s all about making sure everyone feels relaxed and safe while they’re here.
SECURITY & SAFETY
We’ve got a security team (Valton-SEC KFT) on site to make sure everything’s running smoothly. If needed, they may check your bag — not out of curiosity, just to keep everyone safe.
Please don’t bring any illegal substances and items (obviously), dangerous objects, sharp tools, or outside food and drinks.
If you’re bothering others, harassing people, acting in a risky way, or you’ve clearly had one too many, we might have to ask you to call it a night.
Since we’re right by the Danube, please be extra careful — don’t climb over or lean on the barriers.
There are security cameras around the bar areas and across the venue. Recordings are only reviewed if necessary and are deleted within a short period of time.
STAY IN SYNC
Please don’t go behind the DJ booth, don’t reach over the plexi, and maybe save your inner DJ for another time.
Photos and videos may be taken at the venue, so you might spot yourself on our channels.
Any bags, phones, or drinks left unattended are left unattended. We can’t take responsibility for them. If you’ve lost something, drop us a line at info@pontoonbudapest.com

Drinks are served in reusable cups with a 500 HUF deposit. You can get this back in cash at the designated spot at the bar. Make sure to keep your token — you’ll need it to get your deposit back.
Our restrooms are available for a small fee, but the amount can be used as credit at the bar.
