In our latest Balkan Blokk series, sounds and rhythms give birth to vivid, pulsating stories right before our eyes. The focus is on ethno, folk, world music, and the culture that surrounds us, which we sometimes spice up with authentic dance parties so we can twirl and spin together amid the bustling waterfront.
Tuesday = FOLK!

~ Ganjálló blends Balkan, Roma, and Eastern European melodies with driving energy and free improvisation. Their music fuses authentic folk elements with the spirit of joyful, uninhibited improvisation, making every concert unique and unrepeatable. Expect dynamic rhythms and dazzling instrumental virtuosity that will get you dancing in no time!

A taste of their vibe: streetfolk, post-mulatós, eclectic turbofolk, neomanele, new wave chalga, gypsy magic, romano-shock, Balkan trash, minimal klezmer, Romanian fever at a thousand degrees.
