~ The band Tindia began its career in 2015 at a popular Budapest café, where it regularly hosted Moldavian dance parties and folk nights. Now in its eleventh year, the band has evolved significantly since then. Their music, rooted at the intersection of folk and world music, is brought to life by the intense feminine energy within the group, their freely expressed humor, and the unbridled dance-house vitality. The band's lineup is a rare phenomenon in the Hungarian folk music scene: it consists of five women and one man, which lends an atmosphere, sensitivity, and dynamics to their songs that differ from the norm. They draw inspiration primarily from Moldavian folk music, which they reshape with their own sound and instrumentation.
